With the springtime in full swing and the approaching summer in the horizon, companies and people alike are taking on the season with new found resilience and careful optimism. We at NE Device SW have also found ourselves reinvigorated by the can-do attitude and determination of our fellow professionals, and it’s been possible to catch the Vitacam team in action across multiple different platforms and events in the past few months. As such, it seems like an appropriate time to catch up on some of what we’ve been up to this spring!

Eurocities Economic Development Forum

While the recent times have forced many events to cancel or move online on a short notice, the exceptional circumstances have also given some event organizers a chance to showcase their exceptional ability to rise to the challenge. One such example was the international Eurocities Economic Development Forum event organized by the city of Oulu and Business Oulu on the 17th-19th of March that went through multiple last-minute iterations to make the event possible. NE Device SW took part in the event as an example of a successful co-creation project, showcasing how a city can support local entrepreneurship through different innovation services.

Healthtech webinar – DIT UK

Only a few days later on the 22nd of March, CEO Moyeen Ahmad also took on the online lectern, presenting his tips and lessons for entering the UK market at the Healthtech webinar organised by the UK’s Department for International Trade. The UK is a key market for Vitacam and as such we’re very pleased to be on the Spark Dynamic Purchasing System for healthcare procurement by NHS entities.

Find Moyeen’s slot in the session below and his presentation materials here. If you have any questions about our plans in the UK or would just like advice on how to enter, do get in touch with Moyeen!

What’s next

In addition to public appearances, the Vitacam team is working actively on further development and certification of our product. As we plan our next steps, keep an eye out for at least the OuluHealth booth in the upcoming “Atk-päivät” IT-event for Finnish Social- and Health care services on 25th and 26th of May. There is a chance you may just find us there!
